the mission
Evangelism has gotten a reputation — mission trips, street tents, pocket Bibles handed to strangers. And while those things have their place, Artisan Evangel exists to say something different: the most powerful place to share Jesus is right where you already are.
At work. At school. At the coffee shop. With the coworker you eat lunch with on Tuesdays. With the classmate you've been paired with all semester. The everyday moments aren't interruptions to your calling, they are your calling.
But this isn't just about what you do. It's about who you are. Real evangelism flows from the inside out, from a faith so rooted in who you are that it naturally spills over into the people around you. Not a performance. Not a program. Just a life lived so deeply in Christ that others can't help but notice.
my story
I grew up in the South. The Bible Belt. Churches on every corner, Christians in every classroom, crosses on every bumper sticker. By every measure, I was surrounded by the faith.
And yet, I didn't know Jesus.
Not really. I knew about Him. I could tell you the stories. But nobody around me, not even the believers who loved me, ever made the effort to let Christ actually arrive in my heart the way He should have. Not because they didn't care, but because somewhere along the way, evangelism stopped being something you do as you go. It became a program. A trip. A special occasion.
There's a reason Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Therefore, go out into all nations"; The command was always woven into the everyday. We just forgot.
When I finally met Jesus for real, something lit up in me. All I wanted to do was share Him with everyone, everywhere, all the time. But I looked around and felt completely alone in that desire.
That's why Artisan Evangel exists. So nobody has to feel that alone again.
